So many appointments, so little time

It seems every single day lately is filled with something I have do. Mostly, it seems to be one doctor's appointment after another. There is just so much that needs to get done in the next two and a half weeks before the baby comes. Yes, you heard me correctly, I am really getting close to delivery time. If it isn't me one some kind of appointment, it is one of the girls or Daniel. I swear, it is really wearing me down.

Now, can someone explain to me why every appointment I go two ends up being well over two hours spent in the office? The OB's office seems to be the worst offender of this, but anyone who has had a kid understands that. I have completely given up on dragging Daniel with my because I can not take him complaining about the wait the entire I am there. Honestly, I would rather him stay home dealing with the kids while I get to escape.

Really, it is no wonder he complains when all of the doctor's appointments he goes to are always right on time. Because honestly, guys would NEVER go to a doctor wait over an hour in their waiting room only to be escorted into the exam room where they get to wait half dressed for another thirty plus minutes for the doctor to come in for five minutes of their time. They would never see a doctor...EVER...if that were the case.

So, it is hard to explain to him why I simply don't find a different OB that doesn't have you waiting so long. Every OB in the nation and probably the world for that matter is the same way. Frankly, I don't know if I would want to go to the only OB that has no wait time. That would probably mean they are an awful doctor.

Well, I know my posts have been few and far between lately, but you can understand why. It is just a mad house here. I just need to make it through the 17th and then I am home free for a while. Let's just hope all this activity doesn't send me into early labor. No, it probably won't. It took three hours of my time to confirm that I was at no risk of preterm labor a couple weeks ago.
